All good things find an end..
and one of this good thing is definitely the ADE. For me it’s like the closing of the festival season and the official start into the cold, normal winter everyday life.
But to not sound that emo I’m happy to tell you about my great nights (or mornings) I had in Amsterdam.
As you remembered our first destination was the Hardwell presents revealed show in the Heineken Music Hall. This show was completely sold out and accordingly full was the hall. But nevertheless it had its reason to completely been sold out. Starting with Thomas Newson B2B Kill the Buzz, Kriss Kross Amsterdam and Dannic the hall was already turned up. Everyone lost his mind when Hardwell entered the stage and he again brought one special guest after the other to the stage: Afrojack, Quintino, KURA and even W&W.
Of course we thought that Thursday night couldn’t beat anything but then Sunday happened. That night we partied in one of the most popular Scene Clubs of Amsterdam.
Directly in the heart of the party hotspot of the city, you can find the Jimmy Woo, a luxurious night club located near Leidseplein. We were dazzled by the design of the club that by the way also won the “Dutch Design” prize and was awarded the “best club sound in the Netherlands.” Well that sounded really promising to us.
But we of course were not there because of the super cool interior.
In that night Jay Hardway & Julian Jordan were the main acts. As if that wasn’t good enough they also invited some friends, you know, just what friends would just do.
Well these friends were ‘just’ some DJs like Timmy Trumpet, KURA, Lil Kleine, MOTi and many more.
So with that line up we would also have partied in a container but I don’t want to complain.
The Party officially started at around 11 p.m. but as we all know: The elite comes always late.
After our small quality-time in our favorite town we arrived at the club around 12 p.m., it was super full but we are used to parties that are little bit more cozy (who ever was at the Bootshaus Club Cologne knows what I’m talking about).
After huge sets of MOTi B2B Kenneth G and KURA, Jay Hardway and Julian Jordan played a full 2h hour set with a lot of surprises: no one else than Dillon fucking Francis (everyone who doesn’t follow him on Snapchat should do it NOW!) and Martin Garrix arrived to the DJ booth. Unfortunately we left Paper-Dillon back home.
After that Timmy Trumpet provided for the right mood until the party ended.
Result: I don’t even know how to explain those nights that again were out of this space.
The only thing that I can do is to show some pictures but that can’t transmit all of the emotions we all had in these nights. I’m so sorry for missing out fireworks, heavy beat drops and leg pain from hours of dancing.
I seriously can’t wait for the next year. I’m pretty sure that ADE 2017 is going to bring new surprises! I’m already looking Forward.
