but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin.” – John Green
One of my most favorite and also most visited cities is Amsterdam. I can call myself as a lucky German who lives only 1 hour far away from the Dutch border and who can easily hop to this beautiful piece of earth. In that case this happens really often. More often than I visit any other city here in Germany.
So Amsterdam started to be a city that i visit in like every occasion:
wanna go shopping? – Let’s go to Amsterdam!
wanna have a crazy night? – Let’s go to Amsterdam!
nah I just wanna chill. – Okay fine, so let’s go to Amsterdam!
So this weekend was like:
wanna have some insane raves? – Yes! Let’s go to Amsterdam!
It’s been now one week ago since me and my best friends couldn’t resist to join the ADE – the Amsterdam Dance Event – from the 20th to 24th of October.
Next to the multiple parties we visited, we of course also had some quality time together to get into holiday mood again and to let out our real tourists spirit.
Who never was in Amsterdam before should know that this city is the perfect mix between completely fucked up and family wonderland. On the one hand you see beautiful, cute little houses, can rent a bike, visit museums or have a boat tour and on the other hand you can go to Coffeshops, to the red-light district or get lost in Amsterdam’s nightlife. You see: This city is for everyone.
We of course decided for the family wonderland package 😉 😉 😉
